• U.S. digital asset legislation hit a roadblock after the Senate Banking Committee canceled a crypto market structure markup

• The setback reportedly came after Coinbase withdrew its support, creating a sudden shift in confidence

• Despite the crypto pullback, U.S. stocks were still up (Nasdaq +~1%, S&P 500 +~0.65%)

One more key detail:
Even with the volatility, U.S.-listed Bitcoin ETFs saw strong inflows, pulling in $1.7B+ over the first 3 days of the week (the strongest streak in months).

Takeaway:
This week was a good reminder that crypto moves fast and sometimes the biggest swings aren’t caused by “price action”… but by policy, headlines, and institutional flows.
